Dr. William Brennan

Dr. William Brennan

Dr. William Brennan, Principal from 1966-1970

A World War II veteran, Brennan arrived at Blair just as another war was breaking out. He guided Blair through the turbulent early years of the Vietnam conflict. He had to not only build on Blair’s earlier successes but had the additional challenge of dealing with various types of student protests, as well as the changing social and academic values of the era. He eventually took a leadership role in the county Board of Education.
