Contribute to Our Scholarship & Special Projects Fund

Thank You, so much, for contributing to our efforts to support Blair through our Alumni Association Scholarship and Special Projects Fund.  The Scholarship Program has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to enable dozens of Blair graduates to continue their education at the next level.

Our Special Projects Program has allowed us to support at the School through the years in such activities as:

1. Sponsoring the “Farewell to Blair at Wayne. Ave.” event in 1998
2. Sponsoring the “Golden Chips” magazine produced by the Silver Chips staff
3. Sponsoring the 75th Anniversary edition of Silver Chips
4. Establishing the Blair Alumni Association Hall of Fame
5. Sponsoring the Blair 75th Anniversary, 80th Anniversary, and 85/20 Anniversary weekends
6. Participating/contributing to the Blair Graduation Venue program
7. Sponsoring the publication of three editions of the Blair Alumni Directory
8. Restoring and re-displaying the memorial honoring Blair students who have died in combat
9. Donating two new scorers’ tables to the Athletic Department
10. Providing funding for 100 Blair Seniors to be able to attend and participate in the 2021 & 2022 in-person Graduation Program.
11. Establishing the Stickley-Stant Faculty Service Award.
12. Sponsoring the 2021 & 2022 Faculty Appreciation Breakfasts for 300 Blair staffers.
13. Placing annual ads in the Silver Chips to enhance the paper’s financial position.
14. Coordinating the approval from MCPS to rename the Blair Auditorium ALUMNI HALL and providing the signage for the newly-name facility.
15. Establishing the ALUMNI HALL Wall of Honor, to allow students, graduates, and faculty members to memorialize their families and their Blair memories.
16. Providing two new state-of-the-art video screen systems to ALUMNI HALL to enable Blair to have one of the finest performance venues in the school system
17. Contributing to the Student Covid Relief Fund set up to assist students impacted by the pandemic (i.e., 11 students lost parents to covid-19)
18. Supporting multiple events sponsored by the Blair Human Rights Club
19. Helping to fund the purchase of new drums for the Blair Marching Band
20. Providing funding to help refurbish the Blair multi-media studios

(provides contributor with the option of naming an  individual scholarship to be awarded to a graduating senior)

♝ Diamond Level ___ $2,500-$5,000

(includes special recognition plaque, special listing in  all editions of the  Alumni News and free registration/preferred seating at all Alumni  Association events)

♝ Double Platinum Level ___ $1,000 -$2,500

(includes special recognition plaque, special  listing in all editions of the  Alumni News, discounts on all Alumni Association programs &  products and preferred seating at all Association events)

♝ Platinum Level ___ $750 – $1,000

(includes special listings in all editions of the Alumni News, discounts on all Alumni Association programs & products, and preferred seating at all Alumni Association events)
