Here’s a chance for the entire Blair family – students, grads, teachers, other faculty members, parents, siblings, and friends – to “walk through Blair’s history.”

  • Start at the beginning – the 30’s and 40’s – and work your way up to today’s Blair, or
  • Start with the “new” Blair and work your way back to the beginning
  • Visit with the current Blair students and organizations
  • Watch the new Blair video “Tradition Never Graduates“, produced especially for the 75th Anniversary

Each decade will have a designated area, filled with the people, the icons, the memorabilia, and mementoes of what Blair was like during their era.  As you walk down Blair Boulevard, you’ll be able to purchase special Blair 75th Anniversary logo items (sweatshirts, hats, jerseys, etc.) and meet representatives from Blair’s student activities, faculty and programs.

Maybe the best part of the Open House will be the opportunity to walk the halls (like we did when we attended Blair) and meet Blazers from every decade in the school’s history.  It’s going to be an all-class event, and for those who haven’t been to the “new” Blair it will be a chance to see this beautiful school up close.

And guess what?  YOU can be a part of the Open House experience.

We’re looking for grads who would like to bring their Blair “artifacts” – those memories of our school that you’ve been saving all these years – to display in your decade’s area.  Pictures, posters, that textbook you swiped and never returned, programs from plays, shows, and athletic events – they’re all welcome!  You can also bring any cultural icons from your Blair years – coonskin caps, bell bottoms, Slinkys, pogo sticks, leisure suits, etc.
It’s easy.  Just mail this form to the Blair Alumni Association, fax to 301-596-2594, or email the below information to the Alumni Manager.  We’ll get your name and contact information to the person coordinating your decade’s display area.
