Dr. Paschal Emma, Principal from 1970-1980

Dr. Emma was noted not only for his experience as a combat veteran but also for his outspoken manner and Italian temper. For ten years his distinctive character made him one of Blair’s most memorable administrators. He also had four children who attended Blair in the last 60’s and 70’s. Prior to coming to Blair Emma had opened the “experimental” Kennedy High School. He retired from Blair at an early age due to health reasons.
