Bob Windsor (1961)

Bob was the most successful of the three Windsor brothers (Ray, Bob, and Tom) who were all outstanding athletes. Bob played football, basketball, and track, and some of the records he set in the early 60’s are still the standards for Blair athletes today. In 1961 Bob was the starting center on the undefeated Maryland State Basketball Champions. After Blair, Bob was a Junior College All American for Montgomery (Junior) College in football and basketball.  He played football for the University of Kentucky and was a first round draft pick for the San Francisco 49ers. After finishing his professional career with the New England Patriots, Bob ran a highly successful sporting goods business and also served as a coach and teacher at several Montgomery County schools.
